I am a huge fan of Charlize Theron and when I first got to know that she will be acting in this movie, quite frankly speaking, I was shocked. It doesn't look like the kind of movie she will be in, not to mention the co-star is actually Kristen Stewart.
But my questions were all solved after I watched the movie. There is probably no one that can pull that character off as good as Charlize Theron!
So for those who is lazy to read, here is what basically sums up the review for the movie.
Storyline
adult version of snow white with the typical snow white saving the day ending
Cast - Love them all except for Kristen Stewart
Visual Effects - Great. Not surprising since its the same producers of Alice in Wonderland
Music - i would say 75%
Make up - 100% job done on Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron is basically the evil queen that wants to stay young forever and to do that, she needs to consume Snow White's heart.
Snow White broke out from the Palace and the Queen sent the Huntsman to hunt her down. Huntsman wasn't rewarded what was promised and decided to aid Snow White in search of her childhood love who happens to be the son of the Duke.
Then some of the hiccups they encounter during the journey, Snow White leading the people to fight against the Queen and finally with Snow White killing the Queen and regain the empire as the lawful heir.

KRISTEN STEWART is actually the protagonist in this movie and she is fucking painful to watch. She always has this constipated look, frowning and showing her big rabbit teeth. I don't even understand why she was casted for the role. Maybe just because she is fair and Snow White is supposed to be fair?
The whole movie, she just had one look and its this:
AH! |
