Quick update on a shoppers feedback.
This shopper who prefers to remain anonymous has messaged us sharing a few of her shopping experience with a few online sites.
You can read about her first experience buying from Curves Boutique here ---> Curves Boutique - Shoppers Feedback 1.
To be honest, I considered myself lucky to not have encountered anything like this from Doublewoot. They are normally really efficient in delivery and I am always happy to receive the dresses on time.
However Doublewoot always have a problem with their stock availability. I have tried paying on time and they confirmed it but then email me telling me there has been an error and the colour I want is no longer available and suggest me to take up another colour, which I was not very happy about it.
When I said I refused to accept the other colour, they promised to transfer the money paid back to me but it was delayed. I have to send in reminders to ask for my own money =(
But with their new website now, its been improved. At least when there is no more stock, it will be informed.
However it will be good if they can update their website more often by either updating the status of the dress to OUT OF STOCK or just delete it from the website. I find it disappointing when I clicked into the dress thinking that it is still available but turned out to be not.
Anyone has an experience to share buying from Doublewoot?

VIVI Magazine Malaysia
I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I SAW THIS SELLING AT COLD STORAGE!
I have been a huge fan of Japanese Fashion Magazines. Started with Popteen, moving to Kawaii and addict to VIVI.
VIVI Magazine is a famous Japanese fashion magazine covering street looks, make up skills, hair styling and everything hippy!
The only thing is, the VIVI magazine is in Japanese (of course!). Taiwan then later on had it in Chinese which is a huge step because there are loads of Chinese readers out there who loves VIVI magazine.
No sweat for the English readers because MALAYSIA HAS VIVI MAGAZINE IN ENGLISH! That is gonna be the absolute best because the two main languages in the world is English and Mandarin and VIVI has it in both!
Here is VIVI magazine Malaysia! Featuring our own blogger Ringo Tan or better known as Cheesie. I was expecting more write up on her and was somehow disappointed that it was just a brief introduction, nothing much.
Obviously it is not the same as the Japanese version but it has the Malaysia flavour. They have street shots of the Japanese fashion lovers.
And you still get the Japanese fashion in English. Read all about in a language that you understand people! It also feature Japanese famous hair stylists of 76style.
I think it is good to satisfy those who never get to enjoy VIVI magazine besides flipping and looking at pictures without understand what it is saying.
Having it in English now is good for understanding because you can actually read on the make up tips and hair styling tips. You can also scout for Japanese fashion in Malaysia because they provide you with a directory of the shops .
Get your copy now and you can also subscribe as they are giving free delivery!

Why do I read Xiaxue?
When I retweeted some Xiaxue's tweets lately, someone actually asked me
why am I reading her tweets and blog saying that Xiaxue is so full of herself, plastic, rude,
Singaporean bla bla bla
I guess I wanted to post this to let it off my chest because because I get damn fed up with the faces I have
to deal with when I said:
‘oh, I read this from xiaxue’s blog and she is xxxxx’
or
‘yea, I read it from xiaxue’s blog and the product is xxxxx.
I am not trying to justify anything on her behalf. So considered this post to be a review on a blogger!
Before I start, I would like to make a small disclaimer to let everyone know that I was not paid to blog about this. I did not gain any benefit from this (well except maybe my own entertainment LOL). Anything said here is all of my own personal opinion and there is no intention to cause anyone any malice harm whatsoever.
For those who doesn't know who I am talking about, check out her blog at Xiaxue.
She is a big name in the blogosphere. Secured some of the most notorious blog awards LOL.
Check out her own introduction! So funny. 'because I am an awesome blogger!' Didn't even mention what she blogs about or say things like diva, entrepreneur, fashion lover and the usual lame words. LOL
If some of you dumbo out there that think that I am on her side
because she is a blogger and maybe my friend, well let me set the record
straight.
She doesn’t know who the fuck I am and I don’t think there is a
need for her to get someone random person like me to sell how good she is and all.
Hello, Xiaxue has 92k plus likes on facebook and I don’t even have 10 yet. So
keep all those crap to yourself.
Come on la people, I have a right to choose who I want to read and
what I want to believe and what I want to express okay.
For starters, I was not even a reader of her blog until 8 months ago. My friend introduced me to her blog back in 2008 mainly because we were
talking about plastic surgery and she told me that there were these 2 bloggers
in Singapore who are in a catfight.
So the kepoh female nature in me asked for the names and they were
Xiaxue and Dawn Yang.
I went to both their blogs and just went'meh okay
la’.
First of all, that is because I am not a huge blog reader. So I
never care much about who this blogger is and who that blogger is but well I guess
when you started working and you needed to fill in those boring/sleepy office
time, you will start to browse through online shopping sites and read
interesting stuffs.
So 8 months ago, I got dead bored and started reading blogs religiously especially Xiaxue's blog. Every single new post, I will read them. Unlike previously when I would just read when I’m
bored. I was so dead bored being jobless that I even read almost all her previous posts. Phew~~
I have grown to like what she wrote and shared in her blog. Its not a
distinct category like travel, food, nails etc. The more I read, the more I
find myself to be addicted to the point that I get a bit frustrated if she doesn’t
blog for a long time! Hahahaha!
Here it goes:-
I like that she is who she is.
Despite all the haters out there attacking her from head to toes
(yes toes!), she can still go on and be who she is. She may have layers of makeup but what you see is what you get.
She
is open about her own personal life.
No hanky panky luxurious trip paid by rich
old guy, selling sex appeal to live the high life. Hey, not everyone can do that. Its almost like exposing yourself to the whole world. And everyone judges! So I can't even imagine how many hate mails/tweets/comments she gets per day if I am already getting it every now and then.
People said she is lucky that she get to marry a guai lou/ang
mo.
Taken from Xiaxue's FB page |
I really like the fact that the things that she shared are all
about her life.
Some people choose to read travelogs because they get to learn
more about places and see nice pictures but how many of us really can afford
travelling around the world?
Xiaxue shared from her dating days to her married days. Friends who
have stood by her side and family members who have given her support throughout
the difficult times.
I guess its more down to earth for me. A lot of aspects
that she blogged is more practical. She may get sponsored to stay at nice villas and all but hey, she earned it.
Xiaxue was also the one that got me to read my own local bloggers;
cheeserland and fourfeetnine. I mean I know about them but I was never a
reader. It was when Xiaxue did not blog for sometime that I wander to their blog cause I needed to read something la basically. HAHAHA
Lately, I was insanely impressed with her blogpost on 'The Faces of Haters'. It takes a lot
of courage to do that. For a tiny person like her, she really does have a big
voice. She stood up for herself and her friends.
And being someone who blogs, that blogpost took a lot of homework and effort. Printscreen, cropping, arranging the pictures, captions OMG I WILL DIE.
Taken from Xiaxue's blog |
Most importantly I think she stood up for a lot of people out there who were being cyberbullied. If you did not do anything wrong, stand up for yourself! People go overboard with their words now because they think that they are safe in the virtual world. They can say whatever they want and there would be no consequences. Well take that! They should feel shameful for commenting such words online where everyone gets to read.
I can go on all day but I just rescroll and realized that this post is effing long so I am gonna stop here.
For those who hasnt read her blog, please do so. Give it some time and you will slowly love it. For those who once has a misconception of her blog, reconsider. And as for those who doesn't like to read her blog, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU READING THIS POST TO THE END?

Zalora.com
I bet the whole world is buzzing about this new online shopping site - Zalora.com. Its popping up everywhere like mushrooms. Every website you visit, you will see the ad. Its forcing you to give attention to it.
Well, after a hefty read up, one would have never guessed that it is actually a German company!
Rocket Internet GmbH was founded in 2007 and Zalando is their e-commerce retail companies found in Germany.
It was just last year in November that they launched ZALORA Singapore and its part of the ZALORA Asia which consists of ZALORA Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philipines, Vietnam and Indonesia.
It attracted loads of attention not just because they are everywhere but the job opportunities that they are able to offer to the people.
And they go all out on their marketing by placing numerous ads and engaging bloggers to write about them. One of Malaysia's noted fashion blogger Cheesie was one of them. You can read about it on her blog at cheeserland.
Not only do they target the female shoppers, you can get clothes for your boyfriend, brother, father, husband, guy friend etc as well. Clothes and shoes, what more can you ask for?
You can easily search them on facebook whereby each country has their own facebook page. Zalora Malaysia, Zalora Singapore and so on. Like their page and stay updated on their events and fashion sales. They also have a twitter account!
Their website is of course impressive bearing in mind the financial standing they have. Here are some pros that will get you excited!
(1) Free delivery nationwide and its by GDEX.
(2)They accept all kind of payments from paypal to credit cards.
(3)They provide Return policy as well as long as it is within 30 days.
(4)They take phone orders and even 'cash on delivery' service if you want.
(5) Sign up for their newsletter and get a RM20 voucher!
I read a few blogs about their shopping experience and most of them are actually sponsored by them so of course its all the sugary honey stuffs. Luckily my hard work reading paid off when I came across a shopper that had a bad encounter with Zalora Malaysia.
*OMG the shopper dropped a comment and its a SHE! Sorry for the mistake Widad!*
The shopper made payment for a pair of shoes and did not receive the goods. She was obviously unhappy and after a bad experience with Zalora customer service, she decided she doesn't want the shoes anymore and wanted a refund.
Zalora replied her and provided an attachment proving the refund has been transferred into the shopper's account. To the shopper's horror, not only did they not refund, the attachment was actually the shopper's print screen transaction of the payment she made.
She posted screen capture of the emails and some facebook comments as well. Read it here if you are interested. However, the entry was blogged in Malay language.
So well, I am still browsing the website to see if there is anything that I want to buy. I hope this post is helpful as Zalora review was suggested by one of the readers. I will share my shopping experience with you all when I have one!
Anyone a Zalora shopper? Come share your experience!

Trash Talk
I posted something on 4 shopping sites selling the same dress and received massive feedback. Some thanking me cause they do not know about it and well of course, some not so positive responses.
Since this Anonymous chose to comment publicly, I decided to state my opinion out as well.
Read these comments found under the post One Dress 4 Sites. Smarty pants decided that shoppers shall go for high fashion designer brands if you want exclusive garments.
Well hello Smarty Pants. I am thinking you are either one very very fair person or happen to be one of the friends or maybe the owner of one of the online sites that were being reviewed.First of all, YOU GUESS ITS NOT FAIR? So even you think that there is a possibility that it is fair? If you guess its not fair, the other guess is that it is fair, am I right?
Second, BAN? Who am I to ban other brands? And have I ever mentioned the word BAN for those online shopping sites?
Third, I dont even know if you thought about it before commenting. VINCCI? Seriously? Do they even sell dress? Your example does not stand at all. If you are so smart, find one design from MNG Esprit Guess and Giordano that is the same. I will then go ahead and BAN them since you think I can do it.
Fourth, "difference of those boutiques and the brands mentioned?" OMGEE really? I need to explain that to you? Those brands are first of all BRAND. Boutique is a SHOP.
Fifth, everyone wants their penny spent to be worth, be it a cheap deal or a designer brand. Well of course if one can afford to go for designer brand, I do not think they will really care much of what others are talking reviewing or selling. So for shoppers who buy online, they still want a good deal. Unless you are speaking as a seller, then it is different.
Sixth, if you can say that you like the dress and will still buy them despite other sites are selling it, what is the point of your comment? Isn't it a bit conflicting?
Seventh, oh good, so you attend a lot of events. Please be a doll and update us if you see any dress from an online shopping site in any events you attended, that case, I am sure the readers will be more than happy to know.
Here is my humble reply to the comments.
Received the same identical comments on 2 different posts. This was found on the Cocktails & Martinis post. What a good job you did as well Smarty Pants anonymous, copy and paste your own comments.
(ps : check on the time)
And hey, just in case you missed out, I did state that if one is really interested with a particular design, they are always entitled to buy what they want. Afterall, its their cash, not mine.
Next time if you want to comment negative things suggesting me to ban brands, either because you want'to be fair' or 'to stand up for your favourite online sites', don't hide behind the shield of anonymous.
Curves Boutique - Shoppers Feedback 1
First of all, I would like to thank this shopper who choose to remain anonymous for giving us her feedback and her shopping experience.
I know that a lot of readers out there might think that I bash other shopping sites and put them down. But hey, if you don't like it, don't read it. There are readers out there that appreciates and wanted to share their shopping experience to caution other shoppers. I believe any online addict shoppers will like to know all information about a particular online site before buying.
This shopper messaged me on facebook telling me about her shopping experience with Curves Boutique. Her name is S for the purpose of this context. All her details are hidden for her own privacy.
S shopping experience with Curves Boutique |
Curves Boutique (CB) stated that there is a defect and asked S if she wants to change to another dress.
S is willing to accept the dress even though there is a defect but CB has already returned it to the factory.
Just a few questions running through:
(1) Payment was made on 31st May 2012 but she was only informed about the condition of the dress on 2nd June 2012.
Even if CB does not check all their stocks (assuming they did not), how would they know there is a defect? If they really do check, then why the 2 days delay in notifying the shopper about the defect?
(2) I believe when it comes to online shopping, its a first come first served basis and S is actually one of the earliest that made payment for the dress but was only informed about the defect 2 days later when she is actually expecting to receive the dress.
(3) It may just be S own theory that CB gave the dress to their own friends but considering S claimed that she has already paid for it and was one of the earliest to pay, it does not take a genius to be suspicious.
Well, let me know what you think and if anyone has ever experienced the same situation.
And just in case anyone thinks I am making this up (like I have nothing better to do), here is my reply to S asking her permission to post this and the following is her reply stating she would like to remain anonymous. We respect her wishes and couldn't thank her more for sharing her shopping experience.
My reply to S |

Sasatinnie Pomegranate Foot Mask
So, here is the review of the foot mask I have been talking about!
I got this foot mask from Sasa Taipei. I do not know if
Malaysia Sasa has this but this is heaven for the foot!
Sasatinnie Pomegranate Foot Mask |
Please make sure that you clean your feet before using it.
Having your feet cleaned not only ensure that the ultimate absorption of the
essence but also there won’t be any bacteria battling the essence of the mask!
You can read the instructions on the back of the packet. Pictures given to illustrate as well. |
After you clean your feet, dry it. Then you will see from
the 2 pieces of mask you have now, there is an opening at the square end. The
other end should be a sharp end. Now open it up and slide your feet into it.
You will instantly feel wet, that’s all the essence in the mask.
This is how the mask will look like! |
You can tie the end with a rubber band if you think its
loose. As you can see from my picture, its kinda loose for me.
Have your feet soaked in the mask for 20-30minutes. In that duration,
you can feel the coolness of the essence, you will also feel the essence
absorbing into your skin.
You can see from the picture above how moisture the mask is. All the essence are just absorbing into the skin!
I have really dry feet and my love for high heels does not
help at all. So having this mask is really a life savior for me. After 30
minutes, I removed the masks and massage the remaining essence on my feet.
DO
NOT WASH OFF THE ESSENCE.
Leave it on your foot and go to sleep. When all of
the essence dried up, you will instantly feel the smoothness of your feet. Fully
moisturized!
All the essence absorbing in~~~ |
The suggested usage is 2-3 times a week for 4 weeks
continuously. I do understand that because I was lazy and thought I can getaway
with just once a week. But the feet dries up too quickly, so if I do it once a
month, all the repair that the first mask did will be long gone by the time I do
the second treatment.
After 4 weeks of pampering your feet 2-3 times a week, you can stick to doing it once in a week.
If you can’t find it at Malaysia Sasa, try to get a friend in
Taipei (if you have one) to get it for you. If not, there is always ONLINE
SHOPPING!
Get it from their website here! Though it says its OUT OF STOCK for now.
Its selling at USD4.60 which is the equivalent of approximately RM14.00. It is a reasonable price consider how I torture my feet everyday with heels and all the walking.
Start protecting your feet and feel fabulous!

One Dress 4 Sites
Shocker shocker.
I have to admit, I LOVE THIS DRESS. But I refrain myself from buying it because I want to see how available is this dress in the market.
And lucky me, I was right. The dress keep popping out at other sites. Sometimes I wish the online sites do a little bit more of research and not to pick the same design that can be seen at other online sites.
They always tell you
'specially handpicked'
'exclusive labels'
'Must have'
'Limited pieces'
Browse through and tell me how true it is.
30th March 2012, Doublewoot introduced it and sold it at RM70.00
Thinking its safe, but 2 months down the road, Atire Attic is selling it at RM69.00 (cheapest of the bunch so far). Attire Attic uploaded it on 15th May 2012.
Then the ball starts rolling, 18th May 2012, IIvory Couture selling it at RM70.00
And finally last but not least, Curves Boutique just launched it as their new collection on 31st May 2012 selling at RM70.00.
So much that I love this dress, I have to let it go. Like the song Too Much by Spice Girls
"Too much of something is bad enough"
Stay alert shoppers!
Attire Attic RM69.00 |
IIvory Couture RM70.00 |
Curves Boutique RM70.00 |
"Too much of something is bad enough"
Stay alert shoppers!
Audience
Just a fun fact for everyone!
I can't believe that I have readers from Russia and they are actually the second most to view!
Those from Singapore, Australia and United States, lets just say I know who you are and thank you for the support!
Thanks for the support people and also those comments! Keep them coming in!
Love you all! Promise to give more honest review that is to benefit the consumers out there!
