Who Am I?

Is there anyone out there that is curious of how I look like?

Ever wonder if I am some fugly ogre or gigantic slump of mess like Ugly Betty?

Hehe, I have actually received some mails asking how I look like. LOL. Well for starters, I am not a celebrity or camwhore pic type of person so there will not be a lot of pictures of me.

But I guess I can understand where the question stems from, most bloggers now attract a lot of readers by posting camwhore pictures or outfit pictures or close up make up face. Which is totally fine because who doesn't like to see pretty girls, nice outfits and nice make up?

Well, some of my close friends obviously know who am I and how do I look like. I am not being secretive, it is just that I am not that type to share a lot about personal life. Think of me like some sort of secret agent that reports within.

And hey, to be fair, I might get different customer feedback if blogshops know who I am. They will be more attentive and provide extra good customer service so there won't be any bad reviews. And that is a tad unfair for the public, they will be misguided

I want to be treated equal as other consumers. Then again, I always use different identity for online shopping as well. HAHAHAHAAHHA. Thanks for those that allowed me to use your address *loves*

Having said that, I am sharing with you a picture of me so you all know I am real, I am a human and I am a female LOL. Not robot or alien okay *does a michael fassbender robot smile*

In time, I shall slowly reveal myself when I am more comfortable. But for now, hope this is sufficient to feed your curiosity (lucky you are not a cat eh).

XOXO

Pretty Malaysian Bloggers

Here are some of the pretty bloggers in Malaysia that you need to know. Its also considered general knowledge! You can't deny the power of blogging now and these pretty Malaysian bloggers here have blogged for more than 3 years, some even more than that. They are like the household names in the Malaysian blogosphere.

People in other countries read their blogs and know about their existence. If you are not too keen to memorize the names of all our prime ministers, never mind. But as a dutiful Malaysian, at least get to know these bloggers!

Being a female myself, I prefer reading female bloggers because I get to see fashion, nice clothes, make up, skincare, girls stuff basically. I am not much of a food blog stalker because it gets a bit boring and I get angry looking at the food but not getting to eat them. HAHAHAHA. And who doesn't like to see pretty girls? I now introduce you to the Pretty Malaysian Bloggers in the eyes of Comparative Eye!

Cheesie - Cheeserland
She is Miss Everything! Speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Bahasa Melayu and JAPANESE. Most probably she knows some other dialect like Hokkien and Hakka as well. She loves Japanese Fashion and Japan is considered her second home. She probably goes to Japan more than Johorians go to Singapore. Yes, that is how frequent it is.

She was even invited by a known fashion brand EMODA for the fashion events! Feel proud having her representing Malaysia =D =D

Cheesie has long slender slim legs, really nice hair, good fashion sense and really down to earth! She still replies to comments on her blog. How many bloggers out there still do that? Hehe. Here are some of the pictures I screencapped from her blog.

If you love reading blogs, read hers. Although she always said its a crap blog, it is not. She talks about fashion and travelling a lot. She is a very private person, being engaged now she has not even share a picture of her future husband!

Audrey Ooi - fourfeetnine
I call her the Ayumi Hamasaki of Malaysia. Good pals with Cheesie, they are both known for their love for japanese fashion. She speaks Japanese as well. Both of them were on some 8tv show before and proved to the world how close they are, answering correctly all questions about each other.

She is also known to be the female lead in the infamous meme proposal that even got Christina Perri's attention. Go google meme proposal and you should be able to watch the proposal video. So cute and funny!!

Here are some pictures of her taken from her blog. Check out the hair colour and the eyebrow. Screams Hamasaki Ayumi. Oh and I love Ayumi Hamasaki a lot! I used to remember the lyrics to all her songs but then kpop invaded and I kinda switch channel. Ai, so sorry Ayumi, I am such a bad fan! But I still love her as an artist! She is class!

So back to fourfeetnine, I love her blogging style. She always make me laugh. I dont know why as well. LOL. People always make fun of her height and I get it cause I am not that tall >"<.

Jane Chuck - chuckei
Most probably the youngest among the bloggers that I read. She is well known for her beauty. Have a look at her pictures and you will know why. She has the kacukan (mix blood) look.

Like Girls Generation kinda pretty. Fair, nice long hair, captivating eyes and of course good body. At times, she looks like a Korean or Taiwanese. As she is still studying, you can expect a lot of partying pictures. I like her blog mainly because I like stalking her pretty pictures. Eye candy is always good to waste my time off.

Nicole - nicolekiss
Famous Malaysian travel blogger mainly because she backpack or homestay travel most of the time. She has readers from all over the world that when she contacts them, she gets to stay with them and have her own local guide. Not the glamour travel like tai tai kind which is why a lot of people can connect to her style of travelling.

Most of her travelling pictures are her in jeans and trainers so do not expect glamour pics with high heels, make up and all dolled up. Having said that, once in a while, she will have 'attractive' pictures as a reward for her readers as well *winks*

I have selected the more attractive pictures because my post is about PRETTY MALAYSIAN BLOGGERS. teehee. So if you wana see her in her jeans and trainers and like to know about places, you should read her blog! Actually before I go off for a trip, I will search her blog and check if she has been there before so I can get some ideas about the place. Smart right? LOL

Michelle Ooi - thekins
Rare leng lui! Why do I say that? Because she was born in Alor Star! How many people you know are actually from there? LOL She is known for her involvement in the fashion industry. She is being featured in magazines and you can see her in a lot of fashion events.

Actually for me personally, I think her fashion style is moderate. Not that OOooooh or Waaaaah but its Pretty. Its simple and nice. Nothing loud or too adventurous. She is working on her own designs now and I cant wait to see it!

Isabella Kwan - B E L L
The girl next door. She is a student and blogger. I started reading her blog because my friend recommended it. She said this blogger writes very well and its enjoyable to read. But HAHA, as usual, I mostly browse her pictures. I like her style. Very classy and yet not over the top.

Most of her pictures, you wont be able to see her teeth because she is having braces. She blogs about travel, fashion, outings the usual stuffs. Nothing special or specific. If you like to see pretty girl and nice fashion style, give her blog a try!

Bell with Singaporean Blogger Dawn Yang
So, these are the pretty bloggers that I always read. Hehehehe. I hope you enjoyed it and do drop me a comment or email if you have other pretty bloggers that you read/follow! I would love to know! Sharing is caring~~~~~teeheeee

Why do I read Xiaxue?

When I retweeted some Xiaxue's tweets lately, someone actually asked me why am I reading her tweets and blog saying that Xiaxue is so full of herself, plastic, rude, Singaporean bla bla bla

I guess I wanted to post this to let it off my chest because because I get damn fed up with the faces I have to deal with when I said:

‘oh, I read this from xiaxue’s blog and she is xxxxx’
or
‘yea, I read it from xiaxue’s blog and the product is xxxxx.

I am not trying to justify anything on her behalf. So considered this post to be a review on a blogger!

Before I start, I would like to make a small disclaimer to let everyone know that I was not paid to blog about this. I did not gain any benefit from this (well except maybe my own entertainment LOL). Anything said here is all of my own personal opinion and there is no intention to cause anyone any malice harm whatsoever.

For those who doesn't know who I am talking about, check out her blog at Xiaxue

She is a big name in the blogosphere. Secured some of the most notorious blog awards LOL.
Check out her own introduction! So funny. 'because I am an awesome blogger!' Didn't even mention what she blogs about or say things like diva, entrepreneur, fashion lover and the usual lame words. LOL

If some of you dumbo out there that think that I am on her side because she is a blogger and maybe my friend, well let me set the record straight.

She doesn’t know who the fuck I am and I don’t think there is a need for her to get someone random person like me to sell how good she is and all. Hello, Xiaxue has 92k plus likes on facebook and I don’t even have 10 yet. So keep all those crap to yourself.

Come on la people, I have a right to choose who I want to read and what I want to believe and what I want to express okay.

For starters, I was not even a reader of her blog until 8 months ago. My friend introduced me to her blog back in 2008 mainly because we were talking about plastic surgery and she told me that there were these 2 bloggers in Singapore who are in a catfight.

So the kepoh female nature in me asked for the names and they were Xiaxue and Dawn Yang
I went to both their blogs and just went'meh okay la’.

First of all, that is because I am not a huge blog reader. So I never care much about who this blogger is and who that blogger is but well I guess when you started working and you needed to fill in those boring/sleepy office time, you will start to browse through online shopping sites and read interesting stuffs.

So 8 months ago, I got dead bored and started reading blogs religiously especially Xiaxue's blog. Every single new post, I will read them. Unlike previously when I would just read when I’m bored. I was so dead bored being jobless that I even read almost all her previous posts. Phew~~

I have grown to like what she wrote and shared in her blog. Its not a distinct category like travel, food, nails etc. The more I read, the more I find myself to be addicted to the point that I get a bit frustrated if she doesn’t blog for a long time! Hahahaha!

Here it goes:-

I like that she is who she is.

Despite all the haters out there attacking her from head to toes (yes toes!), she can still go on and be who she is. She may have layers of makeup but what you see is what you get.

She is open about her own personal life.

No hanky panky luxurious trip paid by rich old guy, selling sex appeal to live the high life. Hey, not everyone can do that. Its almost like exposing yourself to the whole world. And everyone judges! So I can't even imagine how many hate mails/tweets/comments she gets per day if I am already getting it every now and then.

People said she is lucky that she get to marry a guai lou/ang mo.

Taken from Xiaxue's FB page
Well those people should really know what shit they have been through to get where they are now. Not everything is a fairy tale for bloggers la okay. You only see the good side because not everyone blog about the downside. Wanna break your own rice bowl ah?

I really like the fact that the things that she shared are all about her life

Some people choose to read travelogs because they get to learn more about places and see nice pictures but how many of us really can afford travelling around the world?

Xiaxue shared from her dating days to her married days. Friends who have stood by her side and family members who have given her support throughout the difficult times.

I guess its more down to earth for me. A lot of aspects that she blogged is more practical. She may get sponsored to stay at nice villas and all but hey, she earned it.

Xiaxue was also the one that got me to read my own local bloggers; cheeserland and fourfeetnine. I mean I know about them but I was never a reader. It was when Xiaxue did not blog for sometime that I wander to their blog cause I needed to read something la basically. HAHAHA

Lately, I was insanely impressed with her blogpost on 'The Faces of Haters'. It takes a lot of courage to do that. For a tiny person like her, she really does have a big voice. She stood up for herself and her friends.

And being someone who blogs, that blogpost took a lot of homework and effort. Printscreen, cropping, arranging the pictures, captions OMG I WILL DIE.
Taken from Xiaxue's blog
Most importantly I think she stood up for a lot of people out there who were being cyberbullied. If you did not do anything wrong, stand up for yourself! People go overboard with their words now because they think that they are safe in the virtual world. They can say whatever they want and there would be no consequences. Well take that! They should feel shameful for commenting such words online where everyone gets to read.

I can go on all day but I just rescroll and realized that this post is effing long so I am gonna stop here.

For those who hasnt read her blog, please do so. Give it some time and you will slowly love it. For those who once has a misconception of her blog, reconsider. And as for those who doesn't like to read her blog, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU READING THIS POST TO THE END?

Zalora.com

I bet the whole world is buzzing about this new online shopping site - Zalora.comIts popping up everywhere like mushrooms. Every website you visit, you will see the ad. Its forcing you to give attention to it.

Well, after a hefty read up, one would have never guessed that it is actually a German company

Rocket Internet GmbH was founded in 2007 and Zalando is their e-commerce retail companies found in Germany.

It was just last year in November that they launched ZALORA Singapore and its part of the ZALORA Asia which consists of ZALORA Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philipines, Vietnam and Indonesia.

It attracted loads of attention not just because they are everywhere but the job opportunities that they are able to offer to the people.
Zalora Malaysia Website
And they go all out on their marketing by placing numerous ads and engaging bloggers to write about them. One of Malaysia's noted fashion blogger Cheesie was one of them. You can read about it on her blog at cheeserland.
Wide selection to satisfy all your needs!
Not only do they target the female shoppers, you can get clothes for your boyfriend, brother, father, husband, guy friend etc as well. Clothes and shoes, what more can you ask for?

You can easily search them on facebook whereby each country has their own facebook page. Zalora Malaysia, Zalora Singapore and so on. Like their page and stay updated on their events and fashion sales. They also have a twitter account!
Their website is of course impressive bearing in mind the financial standing they have. Here are some pros that will get you excited!

(1) Free delivery nationwide and its by GDEX.

(2)They accept all kind of payments from paypal to credit cards.
(3)They provide Return policy as well as long as it is within 30 days.

(4)They take phone orders and even 'cash on delivery' service if you want.

(5) Sign up for their newsletter and get a RM20 voucher!

I read a few blogs about their shopping experience and most of them are actually sponsored by them so of course its all the sugary honey stuffs. Luckily my hard work reading paid off when I came across a shopper that had a bad encounter with Zalora Malaysia.

*OMG the shopper dropped a comment and its a SHE! Sorry for the mistake Widad!*

The shopper made payment for a pair of shoes and did not receive the goods. She was obviously unhappy and after a bad experience with Zalora customer service, she decided she doesn't want the shoes anymore and wanted a refund.

Zalora replied her and provided an attachment proving the refund has been transferred into the shopper's account. To the shopper's horror, not only did they not refund, the attachment was actually the shopper's print screen transaction of the payment she made.

She posted screen capture of the emails and some facebook comments as well. Read it here if you are interested. However, the entry was blogged in Malay language.

So well, I am still browsing the website to see if there is anything that I want to buy. I hope this post is helpful as Zalora review was suggested by one of the readers. I will share my shopping experience with you all when I have one!

Anyone a Zalora shopper? Come share your experience!
